Jemm is a Fully Accredited IASH Member
We know that brand safety is a cornerstone for any campaign and to support our commitment to ethical practices Jemm is a fully accredited member of IASH, the industry trade body for brand safety.
IASH was created to encourage best practice among online advertising sales houses through the adoption of an effective Code of Conduct.
IASH members wish to ensure that display ads placed via their networks do not appear on websites that could jeopardize advertisers’ brands.
This Code provides a formal framework for best practice for IASH Members to follow when dealing with advertisers, agencies, networks and site owners. The purpose of the Code is to give those buying, selling or brokering internet advertising space a clear understanding of the types of inventory which can and cannot be used when fulfilling an ad insertion order.
IASH Members are audited independently by ABCe to maintain each member adheres to the Code and delivers a high level of brand safety for advertisers.
As part of our responsibility, Jemm has a nominated person within our team who ensures that we deliver ads only on brand safe sites. Every publishers site is vetted against IASH classifications and each insertion order allows the buyer to choose which classification they wish to appear against,
Matt Whaley, CEO of Jemm has been Chair of IASH for the last year and has been instrumental in moving forward key changes of incorporating technology into the IASH audit.
Jemm Media also recently appointed Head of IASH Julia Smith as ‘The Voice’ and Communications Director. We therefore have a wealth of knowledge on brand safety at Jemm Media and can provide our buyers and sellers with a real understanding of the issues.
